General House Rules

  • RAHRC opens at 6:00am and closes at 1:00am (Thursday to Saturday and on special occasions, 2:00am).
  • Membership cards must be carried at all times when on RAHRC premises, or access will be denied.
  • Members are responsible at all times for their children and guests, including maids and drivers.
  • Members and guests are expected to dress in an acceptable, inoffensive manner appropriate to the activity they are undertaking.
  • Pets are not allowed on any of the RAHRC premises (including beach, golf course and football pitches).
  • Members in breach of RAHRC Statutes & House Rules will be reported following the RAHRC Disciplinary Guidelines.

Bringing guests into RAHRC

  • A primary member (and spouse) can sign up to 6 guests into RAHRC in any 24-hour period. The fee is 3 OMR +Vat per guest, charged to the member’s account.

        Guests MUST carry the following identification:-

    • Omani nationals: National ID card
    • Expatriate residents: Labour/resident card
    • Non-resident visitors: Passport or Photo ID card

 

  • Guests will be issued a slip that shows their names, the date, and the name of their host. This slip must be carried by the guest at all times while on the RAHRC premises, and produced on demand.
  • The same guest may be brought to the RAHRC a maximum of 4 times per month, unless prior authorisation is obtained from the RAHRC Management.
  • Once a month, a member may introduce up to 10 guests (e.g. for a family BBQ).
  • On special occasions larger numbers may be introduced, (e.g. if the member books Sohar Garden or Marlin Hall) with prior authorisation from the RAHRC Management.
  • Members' children under the age of 13 are not allowed on RAHRC premises without a parent or guardian (at least 16 years of age).
