Tennis Courts
There are 6 outdoor hard tennis courts with lights, complemented by beautiful sea views, for members to book a court and play at leisure, or improve their game with professional coaches. There are changing rooms and water fountains available on site. There are possibilities to register for personal or group coaching with Ace Tennis School and the Tennis Section organises tournaments regularly.
There are 2 hard tennis courts, open for booking from 6:00 to 22:00. Book a court for your next game here. it that members (excluding guests) can utilize.
Booking Procedure
With the consideration of the large tennis community, the Tennis Section is trying its best to ensure that the courts booking are handle fairly.
It is must be noted that we only have eight courts, which cannot satisfy the current demand of a very
active vibrant section. In addition to member’s personal booking of the courts, we also provide coaching to members, and therefore 3 out of 8 courts are utilized for coaching.
Based on multiple engagements with the Tennis committee, and since the peak is mainly during the 5pm to 9 pm (from Saturday-Thursday) we decided the following:
- Every member will have a maximum weekly quota of 4 hours for court booking in RARHC Club courts.
- The weekly quota will be deduct from all members taking part in a single or doubles game.
- Member who book the court must be present as player at the game, booking for others
members/players it is not allow.
The following two cases will not be considered in the 4-hours weekly quota of member:
a) Courts booking made at MAF facilities ;
b) Courts booking made Fridays and public holidays;
Only Over 14 year old members is allowed to book courts in both RAHRC and MAF Facilities.
Booking made by “account” of Under 14 years old members will not be considered.
Members can only book 1 hour per day. It is however possible to play max 2 hours if the booking is done by two members either in single or double game. The played numbers of hours will be deduct from all players.
Members will not be allowed to book any court to use the ball machine during the peak period (5pm to 9pm, from Saturday to Thursday).
Members who do not show up for their booked session will be subject to the following:
- For first time, will receive a preliminary warning letter,
- Second time, will result in cancelling the account and therefore will not be allowed to play at the RAHRC/MAF Courts for 1 month.
Tennis coaches will be actively monitoring the court usage on a daily basis to ensure that the rules set above are followed.
